What is time travel?
Time travel is the idea of going back in time to the past or forward to the future.
You have been heard about time travel. Time travel was a science fiction. But everything changed in 1951 when sir Albert Einstein proposed general theory of relativity. According to this theory time doesn't flow in same speed in every situation. It can change it speed from slow to speed or speed to slow this is scientifically proved in general theory of relativity this means time travel is possible this is not a science fiction now.
Time travel are of two types -
1. Going into future
2. Going to past
As I have told you that time is depended on your speed. That means time travel is only possible by your speed. There is a speed limit of universe which is - 2,99,377.984 km/s that means you cannot travel more than this speed. laws of natural doesn't allow you to travel more than this. Imagine that we have made a advanced spaceship which can travel at a speed of 99% of light speed we no that it cannot break the speed limit but imagine if it is very nearer to speed limit. Do you know? What will happen now.
The time inside the spaceship will become slow compare to the outer universe. Imagine that you have entered the spaceship on 1January 2020 and you have travelled 7 days.
Inside the spaceship there will ne only 7 days passed but when you come back to earth you will realize that 100 years have passed you will see a different world.
That means going in future is possible if and only if you travel very very fast.
Where as going in past have only one way that is warm hole.
What is warm hole?
Which connects two places and two different time is called warm hole.
The shocking truth is that the warm hole is present between us but it exits in a very small state. Scientists believe that if we capture a warm hole and magnify it and enter in it then going back to past is possible. But with todays advanced technology it is not possible. we cannot make a advanced spaceship which can travel very fast or we cannot make a machine which can capture the warm hole. But expect that in future we may develop a technology from which we can do this.
Black holes
Another possibility would be to move a ship rapidly around a black hole, or to artificially create that condition with a huge, rotating structure.
"Around and around they'd go, experiencing just half the time of everyone far away from the black hole. The ship and its crew would be traveling through time," physicist Stephen Hawking wrote in daily mail in 2010.
Grandfather paradox
The grandfather paradox is a potential logical problem that would arise if a person were to travel to a past time. The name comes from the idea that if a person travels to a time before their grandfather had children, and kills him, it would make their own birth impossible.
Explained briefly
Imagine if you had a time machine and travel to past and kills your grandfather before his marriage.
It is impossible because if you kill your grandfather before his marriage then your father will not born if your father will not born how did you born. If you didn't exist how did you kill your grandfather. If you didn't kill your grandfather then who killed him. Early science-fiction stories dealing with the paradox are the short story Ancestral Voices by Nathaniel Schachner, published in 1933, and the 1944 book Future Times Three by Rene Bar-javel.
